How to log Intercom tickets in Pipedrive as notes

Relay.app is an automation tool that lets you automate actions across Pipedrive, Intercom, and many other apps. In this guide, we'll show you how to use Relay.app to automatically run the PipedriveAdd note” action for each IntercomTicket created” event.

Set the Intercom trigger as “Ticket created”

Add the Intercom trigger to initiate your playbook's actions before creating tickets.

To do this, click "Add trigger" in your playbook and choose the Intercom "Ticket created" trigger. This will allow your playbook to automatically detect created tickets and initiate necessary actions.

If you have not previously connected your Intercom account to Relay, a prompt will guide you through the connection process.

Add the “Add note” in Pipedrive

Integrate the Pipedrive automation into your playbook to ensure prompt notes are added for every created ticket in Intercom.

Select "Add step", then locate the "Add note" automation for Pipedrive, input the relevant details, such as the Content of the note, and select where you want it to attach let's say "Attach to deal".

If your Intercom account isn't already connected to Relay, you will be prompted to complete that connection. Make sure to allow the necessary permissions for Relay to add notes to your Pipedrive account.

Activate your playbook

Activating your playbook is the final step to automate the newly created tickets to Pipedrive. Once turned on, it will respond to log Intercom tickets in Pipedrive as notes without manual intervention.

To enable your playbook, click the toggle button located in the header. It is advisable to perform a test run of your playbook beforehand to ensure all steps work seamlessly together.
