“We have to present to 100 people at the All Hands tomorrow, and we haven’t done anything yet!”

When I was leading the Gmail team, I’d have a panicked thought like that one almost every day. Running an organization is not easy. To build an effective team, you need to nail your all hands, leads meeting, executive updates, product reviews, business reviews, newsletters, planning process, onboarding, project tracking, feature launches, customer updates, and much more. And it’s important to get all of these things right, as they make the difference between the whole organization feeling informed, energized, and empowered, or… not. If you’re anything like me, you’re probably keeping all of these workflows in your head or in a document that’s getting stale every minute. We think there’s a better way to do it.

Relay makes it easy for leaders and operations pros to run a tight ship. It’s a new kind of collaboration tool that will (1) help you capture effective workflows, (2) give you peace of mind that they’ll be done on time, and (3) automate tedious tasks and coordination. Relay combines the best elements of to-do lists and automation tools, enabling people to focus on their best work and taking care of the rest.

To see it in action, here’s how Relay can help you run your All Hands:

We’re building Relay to give you peace of mind, save you time, and help you run an effective team. Once you see it in action, you’ll want to use it for everything you do over and over again.

Our founding team includes product, design, and engineering leaders from some of Google's biggest productivity products, including Gmail and Google Calendar, and we've raised a $5M seed round led by Khosla Ventures with participation from Neo, BoxGroup, SV Angel, and several angels.

We’re already working with select design partners, including emerging market leaders like Ramp and fast-growing startups like Lumos, and we’re opening up our product for early access here.

I’m eager to hear your feedback, so please send me a note at jacob@tryrelay.app!
